Nushin Purchi

Nushin Purchi is an Iranian multidisciplinary artist whose practice spans painting, sculpture, textile design, graphic design, and mixed-media work. Originally trained in Textile and Fashion Design at Alzahra University, she also holds advanced certifications in traditional Persian calligraphy, elements of which subtly inform her visual language.

Rooted deeply in her Iranian heritage, Nushin’s art is a celebration of color, culture, and emotion. Rather than relying on primary colors, she intuitively mixes and invents new hues each one an expression of her energy, optimism, and desire to share joy with others. Her work often blends traditional motifs with contemporary forms, creating pieces that feel both timeless and vibrantly new.

Since moving to Canada two and a half years ago, Nushin has participated in exhibitions and community art events while continuing to expand her creative practice. She is currently working toward reopening her own art studio in Canada, with the long-term vision of growing her artistic presence globally. Through every project, she seeks to explore the connection between cultural memory, personal identity, and the beauty she finds in the world around her.
