Course Overview

A two-day workshop, open to all skill levels, involving live demonstrations, critiques and a step by step, from start to finish painting lesson. The subject matter included two landscapes and two animal painting studies. The medium was mainly acrylic, although some of the techniques could apply to water-based oils.

The workshop also included a design and illustration component, as a primer to creating their pieces. The students completed two 5 X 5 pieces as well as sketches and small quick studies.
